The Language of Icons: Art As Revelation, a free illustrated lecture will be given by Dennis Sardella in Father Mara Hall on Sunday, February 12, 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Dennis is a parishioner of Saint Joseph Parish and a docent at the Museum of Russian Icons in Clinton. He is a retired Boston College professor who has devoted himself to the study of these amazing sacramentals from the orthodox branch of our faith. Copies of his recently published book "Visible Image of the Invisible God : A Guide to Russian and Byzantine Icons"‬‬ will be available for purchase. Light refreshments will be served.
